Heyy…this is Dipansu. By profession, I’m DFX Supervisor at THE MILL , Technicolor India – working since 2000 in the VFX industry – expertise in both CG and Comp. After Art College, I started my career in 2D classical animation in Kolkata. I still have a great love for frame-by-frame manual drawings on paper & Lightbox, can’t resist. I was the writer-director of 1st Bengali 2D animated TV show in Doordarshan named “Sergeant Rohit”. In 2006 I came to Mumbai and started my career as a CG generalist, key area was Asset, Rigging, and Animation. With time you find your true love. So I found FX and then onwards we stayed together. I was working as a FX Supervisor for long years and later got promoted to CG Supervisor. Beside floor management, I have a good experience in Shoot Supervision also. Presently I am working at The Mill as a DFX Supervisor. Please check out the page DROP TEST I’m a person who lives for his passion. I never stopped drawing and painting after art college. Then photography – especially fashion photography is one of my favorite areas I can never quit. High-speed sync strobe lights, a few light shapers, and my Sony Mirrorless – that’s how I want to stay in my weekends. Next comes Cinematography – 3 magical words “light – Camera – Action” changed my life. As a DOP I’m doing Music Videos, Advertisements, short films, and Web Series for long years.
